La Petite Chaise Antiques & Interiors grew from a love of beautiful old things.  Blending antique, vintage as well as contemporary pieces, we can help you create interiors of personality and character.

All manner of furniture, including architectural salvage, are revitalized and re-invented. Art and curiosities. Lighting, textiles, pottery, and the irresistable collection of odds & ends. Like so many others we have met along the way, we are drawn by the "hunt" for the beautiful, unusual, and alluring objects in need of a new purpose and home.
My story is probably not so different from many endeavors born out of a passion for vintage home & garden furnishings.  Taking leave of the corporate job I held for many years, I took a class in upholstery and began to look for projects to recover.  That's I how I got the bug. 
 
While I found lots of chairs, ottomans, sofas and footstools in need of a new life, I couldn't resist picking up various objects to add interest and character to my home.  But how many beautiful things can a girl have? 
 
Being of a practical nature, I concluded that I needed to find a way to fund my habit.  I could continue to search for fantastic pieces with charm and history as well as the occasional oddity, match them with a new home and keep the cycle turning.  And oh yes, I get to keep the finds I fall in love with along the way. I decided to call my little enterprise La Petite Chaise and made it official in 2000.
 
I still love to search all over for wonderfully interesting pieces for home & garden: furniture and accessories from tables & chairs, cabinets & armoires, to art and architectural elements, and so much more.
